So, I was sitting here, listening to a conversation some people were having
about getting word out to newbies, and how many do not read some of the
cluttered newsgroups we have now, or follow any channnels, when the idea
struck me...

Newbies should have access to a newbie oriented news-group. Any informs,
updates, or targeted postings that newbies should be aware of could be
forwareded there as well. I would imagine only newbie helpers and admins
would be able to post, as to keep the spam low and the information as helpful
as possible.
