I'm just saying that summon storm is pointless, especially if u hafta be
outside on a cloudy day. How often do u fight battles in scenic locations?
More so, how often is there more than 1 mob? 200+ spell points and you'll
never use it on more than 1 mob..
Also.. Tzars, who eat bunnies for breakfast, can summon boars, ride steeds,
ect.
Druids, masters of nature, cant call a mouse. They can shapeshift, but foresty
animals ignore them, and attack them.
I'd also like to see starlight removed, and placed with call lightning.
my 2 cents
Define "irony": Irony is when you ask for one spell, which you claim to only
work outside, to be useless, and you ask for another spell, which only works
outside.
Wow.
Ok, where to begin...um...summon storm has always worked indoors, and have
never checked the current weather. It does check the season, as it is one of
the four season-only spells, which is a perk for the autumn leader. But when
it does work, it works anywhere. Second, tho I have debated whether or not
druids needed a spell like call lightning (an OLD spell that only works
outdoors and does about 1,200 damage per shot) I have never debated replacing
star light, one of the few non-reagent druid spells that can do just about any
damage type, with one that does just one damage type. Thirdly, it is true that
druids currently cannot ride mounts, tame pets, or avoid the attacks of
outworld animals. I have no intention of giving mounts to the druids guild,
but a possible guild combo in the future might allow such a thing. Avoiding
the aggressive nature of outworld animals sounds like something that
rangers/druids might enjoy, although such a thing (if coded) would probably
not work in areas or on player-controlled animals.
Oh, and Tzar's summon something called an "abonimation of nature" and I'm
pretty sure it's not really an animal.
