Could we get the amount of location memories stored increased? Now that
there's 5x the continents and an increasing amount of areas. The location
memory total is shared throughout all 5 continents. This should be seperated,
you should be able to have your max amount of locations per continent. They
are HUGE now and way too much area to cover with such a small amount of total
locations you can have, thanks.

there is already an eq that gives more location spaces.

Freld, less than 1% of all players to enter batmud have even SEEN the monster
which gives that item, that's not really fair to say. And ssmud's point
remains valid, even with that eq, since that eq existed BEFORE cont tune.

Before the continent's tune EQ freld mentions already existed, so even it got
a downtune on the new tune.

More importantly, BEFORE continents, your 50 locations was enough to (if you
did it strategically) put you within 100x100 spaces from most major area. (For
example: you wouldn't memorize Mithil AND Revelstone AND Digga, you could just
memorize Mithil and you were within 100x100 of about 20 areas for the cost of
1 location memory slot)

Now, areas are very spread apart, so 50 slots really only let's you get close
to 50-60 areas (since you don't get many areas nearby anymore) so it's a great
big downtune, and we could really use +50 or more location memory slots (even
150 would be pretty nice) I mean people with boats run this mud and more
location memory slots would have people move around a bit more.

I'm not sure if you're forgetting or just blatantly ignoring the fact that
while the continents are a down tune to location memory per se the traveling
has otherwise been made easier. Spell-wise and physically. Or it might be that
you're just unaware of the newer features but hey, as far as I know they've
been announced in news so no real reason to not know them.

How about making people able to "cast go at at 150 ne" and this would make you
move roughly 150 steps of desired direction, drain your sps like old go and
the accuracy would naturally be affected by your mastery of locating. Nowadays
casting go at certain direction is pretty much random in how far it travels
atleast according to my own few tests.

In the Old Days, Nazrix was 70% troll, 20% comedian, and 10% rational. If he
talked on channels too much, you just killed him a couple times, put him on
ignore, and you're good for a few days. Then he'd start mailing you, relocing
and exploding himself with wands, or sending you brownies. So you kill him a
couple times more, then summon him to no-exit depression room, and you're good
for a few days. Where was I going with this? hmmm.... oh right. Sonny, now,
Nazrix is nearly 50% rational? And he comes up with coherent ideas and uses
paragraphs? What the hell is happening to our MUD?
