No idea how hard it would be to implement etc. But i'll post it anyway
I find it stupid that a human with 20 dexterity and equipped with 2x iron
dagger hits exactly at the same speed as a human with 60 dexterity and 2 iron
daggers.
I know dexterity might affect hit-ratio etc but it would be fun to see some
flavour in here. How about making dexterity affect the weapon speed at least
slightly (lets say +-20%). Not sure how it should be balanced between races,
but in my opinion, a catfolk should be faster with daggers than a giant is.
Sure, next whine would be barsoomians having 4 limbs and high natural
dexterity and becoming even better, so my suggestion would be to divide
dexterity by amount of limbs or weapons (yes, wielding a sword in 2 hands
should be faster than wielding it in 1 hand). This way the gap between races
could narrow down a bit, allowing a catfolk to hit more often with 2 limbs
than a barsoomian with 2 limbs.
