1) help ships (and help ship "functions")
-> vital part of the game and very little info in-game?
Hmmm, I'm not sure what you mean by "very little info." There's a rather
extensive 'help' built into the ship helms with commands infos, arguments, and
usages ("helm", "ship", "combat" and "console" without arguments will display
helps, there are way more than that though. A few have an <info> arg that'll
display a rather extensive help). I will however add an overview helpfile into
my short-term project list to just give a brief info on ships and their
usages.

2) help wear time (or help eqdamage updated?)
-> what is this thing anyways, how does it affect etc?
Yes, I agree 'help eqdamage' needs to be updated. If someone very in touch with
the recent tunes moreso than myself wants to rewrite it and submit it to me,
I'll review it and update the helpfile as necessary.

3) Reincarnation to be (almost)
a) exp free after 1 rl year
b) guild levels money free after 2 rl years?
-> get those old players back to the game!
While my opinion means relatively squat on an issue this controversial, I would
at least support "a" modified to 2 years and 0.01% or 1 year and 0.25%. As for
"b", hmm...maybe I could see removing guild costs if you join the same guild
again to which you have recently (year or two) paid dues, but this is an
essential way of maintaining money balance in the game by removing cash.

4) Party leaders to have rapeprot times halved
-> increase new leaders/tryouts
-> same leader, different members
I don't really like the idea of this. The whole idea of rape prots was to keep
people from 'raping' eq so that others didn't get a chance to do it. The system
in places at least gives other groups a fair chance to get in there and try a
mob. Modifying the rapeprot on party leaders etc. would only lead to the
probable abuse by the popular eq ss+ leaders, who are the ones those rapeprots
are most necessary for

5) Change blog
-> write up every small change in the game;
it might not be important to you, but it may have
drastic effect in someones gameplay experience
I really like this idea and I've brought it up in the past with the developers,
but I've come to realize that basically anything that you need to know about or
is worth mentioning to mortals is either announced in the inform, updates, or
general newsgroups. Occasionally wizards mention things in the tunes channel (
albeit inappropriately), but this seems to be becoming less and less of an
issue as of late. I see no need to inform you of every typo I fix, the hundreds
of monsters that get their races more properly specified, or other virtually
transparent fixes that happen on a daily basis.
->Just some thoughts and a promise or two from a newbie wizard. Feel free to
disagree.
