The 'create a new character' login isn't very friendly towards new players.

First, many names are taken by people who tried the game and left, so it
becomes a long process to find a useable name that the new player wants to
live with.

Second, choosing a name which has already been used disconnects the player
from the server. *Not* very friendly. Couldn't we just prompt for another name
request?

I would also suggest we purge all characters who are: below level 20, less
than 2 days age, and have not logged on in 5 years. (That is, meet all 3
criteria.) Believe it or not, I ran into many names that fit this, when
attempting to create a secondary.

Create a script to do this, run it once a month, and we will free up many
names for players to use, making character creation (and guard naming also)
much easier.
