Someone was asking in forums if we had hit locations. I don't know if bat
could use those, but I was thinking, the special effects criticals used to
have should be looked at anew. We've got the code to do fun stuff with that
right now. Now, this should be fun and not a way to screw people, so the
overall nastiness shouldn't go up, just sometimes doing special damage rather
than extra damage. We need more variety than the current "monster hits you and
you die" or "exp mob dies faster".

Now, the old school "You chop Raven Guard's arm clean off!" would only be
appropriate on smaller monsters, but there's also effects like blindness,
where players would have to flee by memory and monsters couldn't track,
-attack speed or damage due to nerve damage, and good old fashioned vomiting
from pain. Plus, all the out of tune guilds could have some extra candy to
make them more fun.


So, easy to code, more fun, bring back old feature, and game balance
opportunity. Good stuff I say.
