Is there any real reason why newbie channel shouldn't be accessible from hell?
I'm not sure if it has also been opened for those who qualify for 'who
newbie', but I think it would be no-one's loss if bigger players could also
reply from hell.

I believe ghosts can't access newbie because some players are very whiny when
killed, allowing them to vent their frustrations on newbie is not what the
channel is intended for and gives a bad impression to players listening to
newbie. If they have questions for newbie it's better for them to have some
time to calm down and then ask.
Help files are accessible when dead, and NPC's even contact dead players and
offer raises. Ghost channel is also available, I don't think anything else is
necessary.

Newbie channel should be accessible from Hell because newbies often need
help understanding the ress/rais process. Period. End. of. story. if. you.
don't.
like. spam. then. turn. off. the. channel LYTH
