I've noticed some variance in the poison application from npcs, to players.

My observation is that there seems to be two instances of the poison code. A
"newer" poison code, which NPC's who randomly gets access to the poison spell
creates an effect where you suffer hp, or ep, or sp loss at random. There are
also instances where there is no noticable effect, perhaps a broken or 4th
penalty that I've yet been unable to figure out. This newer poison also seems
to expire over time, which is fine and nice QoL.

There is also an older poison code, to my knowledge at least existing in the
spiderguild/related maze, and this duration appears to be eternal/not
expiring, and always doing hp-damage. It's typically cast by spider-servants,
and spiders in the guild-maze.

Spiderservants being particularly annoying, and it would be grand if those
could be altered to have the more QoL poison, eg the "new" one.


Perhaps the poison effect as a whole could be looked at and steamlined abit
mechanically, as the new one also seems to be borked/have instances with no
visible effect.
