Now, you have this material mastery system. The problem with non-deteriorating
mastery AND leadership bonus is that no-one can really catch up anymore.

So this is going to change. I'm not sure how, or when, but what will most
definitely happen is that leadership becomes a mainly +dicksize feature
(albeit there might some small bonus), OR leadership becomes available to
everyone (I'm not saying it should be instantly available. I'm just saying
that it will most likely be usage/time-based, when it's simply
usage/infinity-based now).
