on my phone, so i cant get the post number to reply, but a few nitpicks:
* if you are trying to ram a moving ship, check out the helm on your own...the
"pursue" command might be rather helpful.

* cannons can not kill your lift/etc crew. they can damage your cannon crew,
but a lvl 10 has so many hitpoints that you'd have to explode dozens of
cannons, and have them all randomly pick that one crew to damage. even then,
your cannoneer would most likely fall unconscious before dying, during which
phase you would maybe need to find a revival potion within a few days. an
uncon crew cant be damaged by those exploding cannons.
