While I'm freshly back to knights, knights in shinning armour should get more
rescue than shadow sabres at the very least. Among all the guilds, knights
should have among the highest rescue imho.

just fix the damn guild.. it has so much potential but its all ruined couse
stupid code/stuff. been a knight less that a day and i have my 1st gray hair,
seen ppl join and then insta reinc out couse of this stuff. FUBAR.

Mounted party leaders of ANY kind now get a large bonus to the rescue skill,
and can add the strength of their mount to their own when figuring out how
many people they can drag to safety. Sabres and their lounge chairs can still
benefit from their higher skill% if they can somehow find their way to
horseback.

No "large bonus" while on mount under "show skills." Did you mean rescue is
'increased' because mount strength is added?

The bonus is inherent in the skill/action. It does not show on your skill
list.
