Now that Triad is in open beta, I decided to pitch in few thoughts as quite
many have asked for me to share. First of all, honoring testing I will not
write detailed reviews or any player guides. I encourage you to do the same
until beta has concluded.

Its better when you figure most things out by yourself, both for testing
(points out which puzzle/content is too obscure) and you as player. Its not
everyday you can experience dive into the unknown and have the clueless
feeling. Triad has quite a bit of different aspects to figure out.

To all considering reincing: Triad is _not_ "OP as f*ck".

Powerwise: it's old priest with new tricks and statbuffs. Triad was not meant
to be OP at launch by design... but I'm sure it will find its place. For
people seeking faster gratification, I would wait 6-12 months and reconsider
then. Tune balancing will also surely come especially on new stuff to make it
worthwhile. Some of it is not (currently) so don't let it come as surprise.

That being said: I can openly recommend anyone to check the guild out and it
will keep you busy finding stuff out for weeks to months (if you don't bitch
out into whining for spoilers). There is new mechanics, possibilities and
plenty of lore & stories as meat around the bone complemented by excellent
piece of storyline working as intro to many guild features. Story is _WELL_
worth the read and alone worthy of one spent reinc. Contentwise I would argue
old priest is approx 10% of Triad content and in addition some of old
skills/spells got recoded. In party you can still spank only that familiar
habo command and be useable as you were as old priest. Nothing got downtuned
from existing content.

There is time-gated stuff, investments in terms of raw materials, gold and
equipment sacs. There is also calendar timed content so you need to be active
on precise timeslots and events where other players are required to
join/assist. There is non-capping exp sinks, prayers to be written, research
formulas to discover. And more... But don't let this all scare you. On my
experience you aren't penaltized at all for non-participating or missing. If
you participate, you might unlock new stuff, receive temp boost or gain rep
faster. I repeat myself, this seems not penaltizing but more as upside
building on both new and old content. FOMO is strong feeling but remember its
between your own ears.

Will all the work and trouble pay off in the end?

Time will tell, but at least the road is pawed with good potential, content
and is lightyear's more interesting than old priest.

P.S What to do when reinc in: TRY YOURSELF! If you haven't found place to join
third subguild (Seminary) after 1-2 weeks, then ask hint on guild channel.
Remember its still testing and in devevelopment even if it opens.
