"Americans are evil!"-these and statements like them are meaningless to us. I
tell you one DROP of American blood is worth a million of our enemies lives.
We defend our homes, our families, to the death.
Hmm, now here's a good example of those cultural differences!
europe - right and wrong
us - good and evil
I'm sure it's not totally like that, but I think it's a good example. And
about that peace part from that last quote "we do not wish war...we are a
peaceful people...blahblah". Oh really? I think you are always talking about a
greater evil or _enemies_ as in this case. It's just a part of you're culture,
or am I wrong? We're good, they're evil kind of stuff...
While you, you European
countries pursued the rebuilding of your cities and the refining of your
economies, we Americans garrisoned your cities--our steel and determination
protected you while you were weak, at the personal cost of TRILLIONS of
dollars.
Yes, i do indeed think it was a very good thing that America was there as a
counterweight to USSR during the cold war. Maybe Russia would've attacked some
countries, i always thought America was the unstable one though. Another
thing, you make this sound very unselfish, have you really thought you did it
all for us? Nah, i think you did it because of fear and paranoia.
