Aww, damn, I feel so embarrassed. I really thought that none of the American
citizens knew Canada had a coastline. You don't really think i meant that, do
you? And yep, I'm sure they talked to quite alot of people, and picked out the
most stupid ones. But still, there were quite many totally ignorant people
(concerning knowledge of other countries than America) and if they'd e.g teach
you
as much geography as they do in most other countries with a modern educational
system, there's no way they would've got so many stupid answers (well sure if
they interviewed the whole population or so, but...). I really didn't mean
(and Idon't think ppl generally do when they say things like this) that every
single American doesn't know that Canada has a coastline. What I meant to say
is that the average American does not have much knowledge of "the outerworld".

Btw. they did show ppl who knew the reporter was trying to fool them. And
just what in that example could've caused you to think _Canadian reporters_
(this is not a generalization, is it?) are stupid?
But I guess it must be so if you say so.

Firstly, what made me to believe the Canadian reports are stupid is the fact
that all reporters are stupid. This is pure fact as far as I am concerned,
have you ever seen how stupid of questions ythey ask politicians? In fact
have you seen how stupid the politician answers are? They are all dumb asses.

Anyways, now let's talk a different subject for a second. What on earth makes
you (or any other person) feel that knowledge of geography is at all useful in
day to day life? I mean, just now I went and bought a 12 pack of beer... did
I need to know where the capitol of finland is? Did I need to even give one
shit of lick of thought as to whether Turkey is in the middle east or in Asia?
Do I? I don't think so. In fact, let's say I do know the capitol of
finland. Does that little piece of information mske me any more qualified to
make judgements on the finnish people?

I am hope you see the point I am making. Firstly, perhaps you should be mad
at your own educational system for wasting your time teaching you bullshit
geography about the US and other super powers. I mean, would you say
americans are stupid people with no knowledge of astrophysics because they are
not familiar with 10 or 11 dimensional super gravity theory? Yeah you
probably would, but who cares. I mean do you know the total electrical
consumption of Peru? You don't? Well look it up!

I hear people always knocking the USA for not knowing geography... well I
knock you for knowing it, if you know the capitol of Iowa and you don't live
in Iowa, congratulations! You are no qualified to run the entire state! whee
bingo
