You newbies who like to get explore by dim exploring should think about it
from highbies perspective. Do you think that we like clearing the way to some
'secret' or just otherwise hard-to-get place, just to see some random newbie
mosey there through a dimension?

And often the case is, that there is a party killing a big mob behind the
dimension, and an ignorant newbie might, in a worst case scenario, fuck up the
mob for the party, in the least fuck up their regen if they have aoh on.

In short, you newbies do not deserve to get those 'hard' rooms that easily.
You all deserve multiple pkills for dim-exploring.

If a n00b ever fucks up my party even for a second and is caught doing it he\'ll be a permanent addition to my pk list.. Not that it\'s a scary place but people occasionally die from there.

Tho I\'m inactive in bat right now so this is not such a scary statement:)

If you don't know how to learn move rooms without using dimdoors are explore,
you suck. When you happen to interfere the party on other side(in that area
where dimdoor let you in. You might piss em off and they might kill you.

I've seen people doing dimdoor "exploring" and i've been in party that has
been tiger leaped to get explore. I will kill those people when i reinc into
something that can kill. Anyway, getting explore from bumping into unknown
area is kinda lame anyway, since they won't even know how to get there.

Just my opinion, you've come to interfere and you've welcomed death.
Ps. True newbies don't dimdoor explore, it's more likely that "lowbies" do
this.

This whole issue is an interesting issue. It has existed a loong time but now it has become more important since exploring gives hilarious experience.

Back when I was young i used to do this for a short time, around the time when i first joined the navigators and got access to this dimdoor spell. Once I got to Soth, which was apparently unkilled because of unmatching resistances/lack of time for the party. The party had already left so I walked down the place collecting any leftover watermelon staffs etc. This gave great money at the time.

Anyway, from newbie\'s point of view this was extremely interesting and fun - going to new areas you had no idea about and maybe finding valuable items left behind by the highbie eq party.

With the explore exp added to this nowadays, I can see why newbies are so eager to walk through dimdoors. Lately I haven\'t played much but still I\'ve experienced a few heroes running through our dimdoors.

From highbies\' point of view these explorers are (though usually harmless) VERY annoying. It has nothing to do with owning the area, the reason is that everyone knows that newbie would\'ve never gotten to the area anyway, even in a party. I bet you dim exploring newbies know yourself that this is not the way you should explore the areas but do it because it\'s possible and effective.

The point of this post is that newbies should realize that what they do is against the unwritten laws of this game and they should NOT whine if somebody kills them repeatedly because of this.

Another point is that you shouldn\'t be able to enter through the dimdoor to an area you have never been before unless one of your partymembers already is there. This would quite effectively fix the problem and on the other hand wouldn\'t tune dimension door down.
