I see it as upgrade for highbies yes, but also an upgrade for boonless/midbie
people since +skillmax societies are now "useless" since you can compensate
with EXP EXP EXP so go do your virtuaalikokemuspiste instead of whining!

There hardly is lotsa midbies doing EQ with old tune, not even speaking of 1m+ monsters. Now you make the midbies SUCK even more, and hey, we no longer are able to do the slightest amount of EQ/whatever by ourselves. Great, lets all just go the suck with duz. Its easy for you with all qualities mentioned earlier to continue like nothing happened.

And if things are as bad as Ayli said (AND the current exptune), oh gee.

I bet midbies are totally capable of doing eq, just leave burgle, gmt etc kind
of monster out of your list. There are lot of monsters that now people don't
think.
Just take your group and make eq that you can do, then make exp, then try
monsters that you can do... loop yes, and soon you are waiting on the line to
get to burgle.

Anybody can do eq, it just takes more time if you suck.

Well there's a point, midbie eq is hardly worth doing these days and I don't
want to suck few hours at shitty Artemis for max 100k eq (and similar
kikkelisucking mobs, easier to do the money than hump crappy eqmobs with
sucking party)

Most of the mobs (including many of the top end eq mobs) die if you do more damage than they can regen. That is, if you beat their regen, you will win at some point of time. Some mobs can regen faster than an ok 9-man party can deal damage to them. That only means that you need more people.

That is, you may do lots of damage with your party, and damage the bastard for 90% of its regen. It never dies at that rate.

Bring in another 9-man party. That\'ll need to do 10% of damage to beat the (rest of the) regen. The rest of the damage they deal will be on the useful side: the mob will die, and probably quite fast.

Another example: imagine a damage output against a mob that regens 90% of it on average. Only 10% of the damage goes to the net damage, or is \"useful\". Bring in another party and it\'ll be all useful - all additional damage will go to the net damage. The mob would die with the first party, but it will die more than ten times faster with two parties.

That is, only the damage that they can\'t regen matters.

Remember to curse those big mobs. You\'re fighting agains their regen after all.

Some big mobs are special - they regen from deaths or are otherwise nasty. Bringing in more people will not help against them.

And the answer to the comment I replied to: no, you can\'t do eq unless you can beat the regen. Time doesn\'t help if you just don\'t do enough damage.
