Today, I removed a feature from the game that was intended to
motivate people who can't live up to the requirement of having
to play for 5 hours everyday to get somewhere, because it kept
generating too much whines and noise.

To me, the removal of powerhour seems self-contradictory.
Surely it cannot really be because of the whines, because we all
know that no matter what, changes or no changes, good or bad,
whine is eternal. And surely this multiplies the amount of whine.

Was it the unacceptable behavior of some players recently?
If so, I cannot see what this change will accomplish to that end.
If we players could bring hate to other players, and so punish
these people, I'd understand. But players can't punish players
here. So why give us all the finger when we can't do anything to
make things better?

Was it because you think powerhour is bad for the mud?
If so, I understand the removal. I just don't see how powerhour
was bad for Bat. And yes, I liked powerhour. It almost got me
playing here again.
