I don\'t do eq often... I joined an eq party today. We killed:
A towering demon, swathed in black, 882814 exp (party of 9)
There was supposed to be the heavy black metal ring... but, it wasn\'t in
niches.
does anyone know the reason for this? some global rapeprot?
If so, that is the lamest prot ever... highbies kill it, then poor newbie
party spends hours for nothing?

Wrong, there isn't supposed to be something if it isnt there.
That is unless it bugs, so either it bugged or it wasn't supposed to be there.
Given the lack of more specific information, it probably was not a bug and yes
it was probably lame.
