Here are the new merchant prices for chests authorized by the DPC.
Chests:
1 slot: 10-15k
2 slot: 20-25k
3 slot: 40-45k
4 slot: 60-70k
5 slot: 90-110k
6 slot: 130-160k
7 slot: 180-190k
8 slot: 210-250k
9 slot: 280-320k
10 slot: 375-400k
11 slot: 425-475k
12 slot: 475-525k

These prices will just get Conman killed over and over, as he is only
personally selling for these prices. Get them while you can, as he
wont be in the merchant guild much longer.

Personally, I would call those idiot prices. The 1 slot is marginally the
cost of the skeleton, the 7 slot is a good 40k under market rate, and only a
fool would sell a 10-12 slotter (given the rarity and material reqts.) for
such low prices. Of course, as always, batmud is full of idiots that are
willing to lose money or waste time because they are too stupid to know
better. Luckily, there are some of us willing to spend our time
"re-educating" these wayward types.

I can buy a skeleton for about 7k. It takes about 10 minutes to make a 1 slot
chest. This is why the DPC set the price for a 1 slotter to 10-15k.

Pardon me for asking what is undoubtedly a newbie question, but what is the
base line for which those prices are established? Is it a certain material?
With reenforcement, without? Just curious.

These prices are determined by the DPC which now controls the
merchant-alchemist minimum prices.
