Would be awesome to have the ability to repair stuff on the ground ie.
workbenchs and such.
Would be even more awesome to have a place to store minerals permanently
like you do in the shipyard. You could use this device to extract the material
you need. So in essence it'd be like a mineral box but you couldn't
take anything out of there, just use them for repair.
Why? Because I'm sick of travelling with 5x50 slotter boxes and search
them over and over again for the right mats.

Are you serious?
There's nothing more I hate than comments like this. If you got an
issue with an idea, SPEAK IT OUT instead of just... doing what you're
doing.

So: what's wrong with a 'shop' that holds minerals (like the exchange)
and could be used to repair stuff and it would automatically take the
required minerals from there. Like the shipyard does.

And PLEASE for goodness and my sanity's sake: if you comment about something
then add some explanation rather than just go 'huh?'.

Ok, sorry, the reason is that there were forges made to solve this problem.
It is really not hard to take zinc from forge, repair item, if the person you
are repairing stuff for doesnt want to come to your continent tell them that
they well be charged all mineral charges and then they will come.
Hey lets just eliminate all eq-damage and eq weight and that'll solve all our
problems. And when you go mining, all ore can just go to our big strong belt
under the assumption all mudders are fat and used to holding up all that
weight when they stand!
