The limited amount of claims have wondered me since the system was introduced,
and I still don't know a good reason why there is such a low limit. As far as
I know the max amount of eqs you can claim is about 10.

When this new eqdamage tune was introduced (2000-01?), all new eqs were
supposed to have creators' names on them. Claiming was made possible, so that
eq made after the ancient date and before the date that eqs actually started
to have names on them, could have their creator's name on them. However, lots
of eq made after that date (when all eqs were supposed to have names) don't
have any names on them (thus being claimable). This leads to situation where
new claimable eqs comes into game but the maximum amount of claims a person
can make stays the same. This means of course, that a person can't claim all
the eq that he have made.

To fix this problem, I have a proposal:
If you claim an eq and it has been made after the date, when eqs were supposed
to have names on them, you would get the claim "for free". Meaning that you
wouldn't have to use the very limited amount of claims on eq that was supposed
to have names in the first place. This way you could use all the 10 claims on
eq, that were made on the actual "claimable period".
Or you could just increase the amount of claims or remove the limit
completely. I don't see any problems with any of the options. (Except that
people would claim ancient eq and get personal bonus for them too. That's why
I also had an idea that all ancient eq could be made claimable and the claim
limit would be removed, but I guess this might be too radical.)

Anyway, I would like to see some kind of solution to this problem or at least
some answers and discussion about the topic.
