Not that it matters, but I granted lyth her newbie helper status. Regardless
of what your personal opinions of her were, she knows alot about the game and
has helped many a newbie. I was not present at these helper-arguments, but I
do agree it sends a bad image to see the ones flagged as helpers arguing.
Newbie helper isn't a rank, isn't something to be seen as gotten to help "win"
the game. It's to be given to knowledgable, mature individuals who are
willing to spend their own personal time to help new players to keep BatMUD
fresh and long-lasting. Without new players, there is no future for BatMUD.
And please don't let a little problem like this tarnish the advice and good
standing of other newbie helpers.
