Actually, I have a passing interest into the affairs of Merchants, and if the
discussion moves to guild.merchant or flame, I'll lose the discussion, since I
am currently subscribed to neither. For the most part, I would argue Daria was
correct. Merchants are a guild which for the most part is difficult and
unrewarding, except for the few who cultivate an active passion for the guild
and its interactions with other players. No other guild really affords the
same experience. The guilds ability to produce money is generally
underwhelming, aside from those who reinc in and make use of unbalanced
opportunities (ala Forge Coins, etc.) before reincing out again.
That being said, laurels and kudos to Melemkor, for the revamping of the
guild and addition of many new, innovative, and (dare I say it?) exiting
ideas. Thanks.
