There have been a few signficant tunes the last few months or whatever, and I
wanna thank the wizzes that are doing it for adding help files for it all. In
the old changes to things a lot of times it was described just in the inform
news group and would be lost over time. By putting it in help files you
ensure that we'll all be able to refer to the right info, and it's not just
for those who subscribe to the right news group or started at the right time.
Ask someone who started recently why they should use a shield and if the size
matters? Bet ya a lot of them don't have any clue. But anyhow, thanks for
stickin the info somewhere we can access it whenever we want. -Stal.

Shields reduce how big a crit does to you damagwise. The bigger the shield,
the more it reduces the crits. When they originally posted it, it was
something along the lines that a wall shield reduced crits 4 levels, large 3
levels, medium 2 levels, small 1 level, adn tiny had no effect. So when yer
doing big monsters and are a defensive tank, shields are good to reduce crit
damage..and bigger is better! And now, you know... (assuming that things
haven't changed in the last 4 years ). -Stal.
