`------------------------------------------------------------------'

Lets look at Bamboo. Do we really have this many challenged Merchants
playing? I'm sorry if that sounds mean, but when I see this I have to stop
and say 'WTF, who's being a complete dumbass!'
Let's say that Player A sold when the Exchange was totally empty. Good
job Player A. The high average for Bamboo is about 1000, and player A took
the inititive and bumped it up. This is always a good move, helps us all
out by setting a higher initial price.
Player B. I don't know what the hell you were thinking. Maybe you were
thinking that 1500 was too much and no one would ever buy at that price.
Well all I can say is think a bit more. They will if that is the only price
they had the option of buying at. You should have sold for 1500 also.
Player C. This guy has a lot of options. If player B didn't have 99kg
of material listed I would have said buy it and resell for 1500. However
by doing that you would still be helping player B out, so it's not really
the best option. I will have to assume that Player C didn't sell at 1000
because he needs the cash badly or soemthing and wanted his to sell before
player B's. Well we are competing and as much as I would like to have
Player C sell at 1000 or even at 1500 I can understand. Player C did a good
job, he at least only marked the price down 5 gold. Enough to make a
difference to a player buying but not something like 33% like player B did.
It's simple math, 3 steps at 5 gold is 15 gold drop in price, where as 3
steps as 100 gold is a 300 gold drop in price. Merchants will never be
able to act as a single voice when it comes to the lowest price but by
acting intelligently you can help keep the damage to a minimum.
Player D. Your just an idiot. Honestly what were you thinking?
Player E. Did the same thing Player C did but at 25 gold instead of 5.
I would have to say though with the low amount in kg that player D had, you
should have probably matched 800 or bought his and resold at 995 or near
there.

Be a smart Merchant, look at these prices, follow the prices, use
insider trading. You don't have to buy and resell if you don't want too.
But at the very least sell yours for a smart prices helping all of the
merchants and of course yourself.
