Okay, while I will be one of the first to agree that alloying prior to
Duke's recent change had some serious balance issues, the recent change
does seem to be a bit overboard. With maxed sklls, a 25% material loss
on a two material alloy seems more than a bit excessive. I was expecting
something more on the lines of 5-10% with maxed skills. At 25%, alloying
is going to become extremely rare and if the losses go up with more materials
I don't see anyone doing serious alloying.
Would be nice if the powers that be would reconsider the loss percentages.
