I can easily make 1000s of kg of diamond in one day, but you said they mined,
amalgamated, refined and alloyed that much. I don't see anyone doing that in
one day. Sure, you could buy all the base components from the shop to make
your diamond, but you certainly aren't making that much if you are doing all
the raw material procurement.
