Why would they do that, you dumb ass? Every once in a while even the 'higher'
players get confused and need help, where will they ask if your dumb
suggestion is approved?
And don't give me that stupid 'ask friends/other channels' crap, you only get
stupid answers, and maybe there's no friend that knows the answer.

I'd suggest you to read 'help channels'. Newbie is not for 'higher' players,
even if they do get confused.

Then again, a valid reason to not have a limit is that even the 'higher'
players that are not mentors might be helpful at times - and that's just
fine.

Oh and place "dumb ass", "dumb suggestion", "stupid crap" and the like
between my comments if it helps to drive the point through.

So that no one other than helpers could answer to people. So you truelly think
that we dont have anything else to do except to answer questions in newbie
channel. And what if no helper that has time knows the answer but some oldbie
does, then newbie gets no answer. Or what if no helper is unidle.

I have seen many decent helpful answers on the newbie channel that come
from non-mentors over level 40. Naked addressed that...but there\'s
another reason.
The newbies should realize that some of us non-mentors are approachable
too. There is no reason I couldn\'t become friends with a L16 char that
I met by helping to explain the guild system over the newbie channel. So
for the social players, keep the channel open.
It\'s been working quite nicely since the policy of not giving
misinformation or stupidity answers on Newbie channel.
