Implement buffered tells to offline/ld characters, with appropriate
information on the characters status being relayed to the teller. Limit this
buffer to say10 lines. This is convenient, and offers a variety of options for
dealing with the old tell invis problem. Check code so that buffer overflows
dont get dumped to the command line like we see on every MS product coded.
