I've heard several times from different sources over several years that the
formulas in help spellcasting file are incorrect.
I understand luck plays a factor, but it's not mentioned in the help file at
all.
Are there other factors contributing?
If it's changed dramatically, is it fair to publish erroneous and misleading
information?
Please update the help file if it's incorrect, or remove it.
