I have been wondering for several years why some races have some feature
that makes them quite unplayable. Mainly talking about cyclops and
wolfmen. I don\'t know why their fire/psi wimpy was implemented
originally, maybe they were too powerful but anyway it should be clear by
now that tune was too harsh.

Tanks primary mission is to protect backrow members because they dont get
any fightning skills and there is no way to make sure that cyclops/wolfman
would stay in place. Also this random wimpying will get you killed quite
often as you run to a agro monster. Maybe something could be done to this
like removing that wimpy effect and adding something like +dam from
fire/psi. There are also other races that are out of tune but it is not as
fundamental as this imo.

Also i think that skeleton, centaur, cromagnon, lizardman, catfolk are out
of tune in one way or another but this is not so bad. This only for
tank/hybrid races, i dont know about blasters.

Shouldn't be too hard to get that 20% psi or fireress with boons and banes.
Though I have no personal experience, this is said to disable the wimpying
from fire/psi dam.

no one of that racelist gets more than about 500sps(centaur loc did get
460sps,dunno about catfolk)So where is so called "overtune".Catfolks are what
they are but rest of that list dont need a tune, and if so can you atleast
gimme a direction in what part they are in "overtune" and please dont even
start to whine about catfolk this and that... forget catfolks for this reply
and think of em others.. thanks

I said that they were out of tune in one way or another meaning that some
are too good and some suck balls. But it is not so bad because stats, dam,
skill/spellmax, exprate is something you can cope with, random fleeing is
not.

I still like to make very clear that the orginal idea has nothing to do
with other tunes except random fleeing by wolfman/cyclops. It was just a
side note that I probably should have left unsaid.

Ps. web news sender seems to have different cutter than batmud. It causes
stupid looking quotes. Could this be fixed?
