Maybe conjurer's have a protect item field similiar to protitem that
channellers get. Seems only logical that conjurer's could conjure up a field
that protected your eq for a boot (time or something), and maybe remove it
from channellers?

Channellers and Conjurers are different guilds, they get different spells, in order to do everything you might want to, you need multiple skills. This is as it should be.
