How about displaying all the top 1000 players, once each year? Maybe on the
annual Batmud anniversary?

What was the reason of keeping exp top secret anyhow? What about showing all
the top 1000 all the time, like the other plaques?

Because its an option to un-sign? I bet that if they offered an option to
filter all text displayed on the mud into jive or ebonics or something, that a
lot of people would turn it on just because its possible...

Here is the solution: make it so that only people that are signed on the
plaque can see the other players who are signed. Annoying that all those
lameass hiding wimps can see my totals if they are so ashamed of their own
totals.

Many people who hide in the plaque also use the plaque so that they go there,
sign quickly on to see where they stand, and then quickly sign themselves off.
This should be somehow disabled, maybe only change the status of the person
signing on or out of the plaque at the boot, so that you can't do such rapid
changes - either you are there or then you are not.

only a handful signed up, because only a handful want to be on it. make it
mandatory
