First of all I don't like (gasp) the recent hp-tune.. It's just boring that
hps are FORCED to something, and you can't affect to those hps too much with
eqs etc.
I don't know how much it affects to rocking hybrids to lose some hps, they
still can do quite a lot of tricks that nomads can't. So what I thinked of was
that some guild would restrict some other guilds lvls. Monk, templar, tiger,
loc, sabres etc clear tank-guilds would reduce the amount of lvls that one
could take from the bgs caster-guilds.
Full monk could take only 25? lvls of tarmalens, or full reaver only 30? lvls
of priests.
Just an idea.
Hmm I actually liked the idea. And it's about time people start saying if they
think an idea is good. All we see nowadays are just fines and good ideas don't
seem to get any support.
I can't say anything about hp-tune since it didn't affect me at all, but
Cyberlahko's idea is worth investigating. I don't think Saldas' vision is very
realistic. Restricting guild choices would perhaps make some guilds hard to
play, but if this rule were applied only to specific guildcombos, we might
actually see some nice variety in reincs and thus characters with more
different playing styles.
Monks/templars could restrict the available tarmalen levels, but for example
tarmadruid build could still have the maximum levels of both guilds. Same goes
to ranger/barb combo, but perhaps restricting available barb/ranger lvl's if
full crimso? Well... nomads really don't need another downtune, but if we see
some spice in that bg in the near future, it might be worth considering.
Anyway it's not up to me to decide, I just wanted to support an idea I liked
and toss some thoughts around. Peace.
