How about players having prefixes?
It could be a boon or a attainable 'feature'. How it works :
You could choose your name-prefix from a list, containing the ones fit for
you. These could include race-spesific, marriage-status, rebirth, total age,
the amount of exp and so forth. The more you gain, the more choises you have.
Examples : Mr., Mrs., Duke (not The Duke, but A Duke --editor), Lord, Madam,
...and so forth. Mostly like shown in the 'who'-listing.
Others could be like Savage, Outlander, Noble, Priest(ess), Nomad,... etc.
Some choices might be like adjectives like 'Shining, Dark, Illuminating,
Morbid, Crooked,...and what not.'
Those are probably not the best examples, but you'll get the idea (hopefully).
These prefixes could be shown when the player is in the same room and someone
'look's his/hers surroundings, and in finger. Not while moving, it's a bit
too messy thinksme.
This would not, of course, have anything to do with your ability to gain
anything else but a nice status. It would depthen the role-playing side
of this game, nothing more. But yet it would be extremely cool... and stuff.
That sounds awfully like ranks which we already have dude.
