Weapons and equipment that have good or evil requirements for
wielding/wearing, should be force-removed if the player at any time, fails to
meet the alignment requirement. For example, Loc's shouldn't be able to use
slenders. Yeah, right now its the only option for an evil_religious player to
wield a midrange non-2h size weapon in one hand, but it doesn't make sense.
Which brings me to another point.
Evil religious gets the shaft when it comes to alignment-oriented eq. There
is far, far more eq in the game that requires you to be good-aligned in order
to use it. How it should work, is that eq from a top level evil-aligned
monster should be usable by only evil-aligned players. The same would go for
top level good-aligned mobs. This might not have to apply to _all_ pieces of
eq gained from such monsters. But it could potentially facilitate a
good-vs-evil interaction among mortals, which in my opinion, would be pretty
cool. A perfect example, was the Burgle eclipse thing that took place a while
back. When is Mithrandir or Abess Abigail going to be afflicted with some
sort of weakness?
Lastly, can someone please create some more non-2h size longblades that are of
at least slender-comparable quality? As of now, there are only 3 such
weapons. And they are all quite hard to come by. "Pardon me, do you have an
extra nightfall i can borrow?" Heh, I think not.
