Ok, here are a few ideas, they may suck...
I didn't like the previous ideas because they were quite "offensive",
and as crimson is a defensive guild, i don't think it would suit them.
My ideas are based on that they need something to actively do, instead
of idletanking.
1. Some kind of rep system for Crimsons, called e.g Battle Experience, would
affect in the way avoid does, but wouldn't give you avoid because most
eqyuppies already prolly got full avoids. Shouldn't be a megasuffeli thing
tho. You'd only get experience from the really big monsters that show you
moves you haven't seen, and they would affect to...a maximum of 5% of monsters
hits (this would take long to achieve...2 months of active playing?) You would
also gain no experience for the same monster done twice (or more times).
2. Shield Bash uptuned, dunno if other guilds get this, maybe rename it to
"Interrupt Enemy" and give it only to crimsons. This should be uptuned so that
it interrupts spells/skills on small monsies quite reliably, and quite
unreliably on eq-monsters (1 works outta....umm...10?..20?...30? on big eq
monsies)
3. Some kind of special skill, could be a bit in the style like barbs got.
Could be called "Fortify", and it could only be used on non-agro ones, i dunno
what bonuses it would give, maybe +parry? or +miss to the monster as the rep
system? or maybe some totally new stuff, just leaving the monster slashing at
you w/o doing any dam. As the other skills, this would not work very well on
really big monsters
