make advancing guild levels cost in gold depend on total amount of gold
currently in game. mucho cash in game == reincing very expensive, but also:

why not go totally commie and make it according to each players ability to
pay? If you have lots of cash. . . 100k a level. If you are poor. . . 5k a

Too easy to abuse. Give your cash to some friend of yours prior to going to
