The capability of players to "rape" a huge eq mob
is obviously limited by the frequncy at which this
mob is killable. I would think a simple solution
to this problem would be to limit the reset rate
of rooms in certain areas to be longer than a simple
load/clone after reboot.
This would obviously require serializing of some state
over boot, but I think continuity over reboots in
certain areas would add flavor to the game.
It would also give the admins the capability to
easily tune the frequency at which a mob can
be killed.
