The city guards right now are ridiculous. First of all they hit so damn hard
that if you want to go surrender to them you will probably die doing so,
especially if you are a caster. If the intent of making them so hard hitting
was to give a person motivation to surrender, then make it so that the person
automatically gets caught whenever they hit a cop, and the cop (being a big
stud like he is) automatically starts dragging the person to jail. If you
want to make it so that the person still has the ability to choose not to
serve time, each room they are dragged prompt them to try to 'escape' if they
want, then they can go on with their life. The best solution is to leave them
as is and knock off about half their levels. Another problem is the fact that
the damn guards agro to offskills. Sucked to be fighting fungi (defending the
city that these lazy cops don't do!) and one of the mofo's agroed to me. Of
course i left the room and came back and he wasn't agro, but still...those
things hit like a god damn mack truck.
So please consider turning their offensive power down significantly and make
them not agro to offskills/spells.
