I agree with Duke on the point that I don't see a problem with lowbies/midbies
have awesome eq if they buy it from a highbie... Upping monster "toughness" to
eliminate eq going into the game to prevent it from going to lowbie/midbies
just doesn't make any sense... it makes a stagnant if not non-existant
economy... it's like saying you can't buy a car, you should build one on your
own... but also alot has to do with players having an attitude of "if i can't
have the best i want nothing"... and from a coder standpoint it does suck to
take alot of personal time making eq and quests and seeing people have the
rewards of your work through no action of their own other than mindless money
making, but hey, someone at least did have to do the quest/area/mob to get it
in the game in the first place... in summary, it's a pseudo-problem that has
so many solutions, yet each brings about its own new problems with it... so
leave it or love it, BatMUD is a kick-ass FREE game that has survived more
whines than all the bums in the world (whines/wines - get it?) and will prolly
be around long after most of you are gone...
