Another idea that *might* be really stupid, but would perhaps lessen the
"threat" of eq-for-reinc-money is shopvalue. If the reason too much eq gets
into newbie/midbie hands is truly because highbies want more money for it,
perhaps shopvalue should be honored for certain pieces? I personally used to
dislike player-to-player transactions and would've MUCH preferred just sending
all loot (except stuff kept for ourselves) to the shop. I can't tell you how
many lower-end pieces of eq we chested to have Jaina sell on sales the next
day.
The problem that might create would be too much money in the game, of course,
and I guess I hear sometimes that we already have that? I suppose I could be
pkilled for suggesting this as a simultaneous tune but: we could also raise
the cost for guild levels *if* that shopvalue tune were to create too much
money paid for eq.
