SSs should be able to add a mailing list option; a mudmail address which could
be used to mudmail all SS members. A few notes about this option:
- The address should probably be ss-<SS Name> or have some other way to avoid
clashes with character names
- It could be nice but not necessary to have some sort of subscribe/unsubscribe
ability that players or administrators can toggle at the ss room.
- Another option would be the idea of SS newsgroups; the advantage of the ss
mailing lists would be that the messages could be edited outside the mud, and
sent to the ss-losers@batmud.bat.org

Yeah, Yeah. Do we look like Hotmail? :)
I believe that this will require manual creation of mailinglists for every ss,
and I doubt anyone will do that.
I am not sure it is possible to modify root/mail owned mailer config files
from mud, and after that kill -HUP mailerdaemon

Some mail servers can use external flat files for mail list resolution. These
files do not need to be owned by root, just need to be read by root.

As for HUPing the service, just do it once per boot.

Does bat look like hotmail? No. It's cooler, and has a much better interface.
But, it seems to be lacking some of the standard features which I would expect
from such a cool server.
