I agree that the changes should be mild. How about bringing the pantheon to
the game in reinc. You may pray to some/any of the gods in the pantheon and
they may or may not smile upon you (50/50 chance?), and according to this you
get an insignificant bonus/bane. E.g you can boost +5 str/con/dex once in a
while or sth and equivalent banes... this might just be another sucky idea
though
