Make it possible to train skills/spells in secret societies. Nothing that only
a certain guild gets, but generic skills (dodge, parry, meditation, camping,
long blades etc...) and spells (infravision, invisibility, cure light wounds
etc...).
This would make interesting combos possible, like a monk using sword in one
hand and iron palm with the other. With this the player could also get things
like combat sense for sabre, dodge for templar etc...
Not to make this overpowerful, skills would require certain ss levels and
perhaps a player could get 20% of skill each level, but this would of course
make it impossible to get statmaxes from that level, so instead of choosing
maxes, player could choose to train certain skill.
Again, not to make this thing too powerful, high-end skills like dodge and
parry should only come available in the last ss levels, so training dodge to
100 would require player to get it from ss levels 16-20, 20% from each level.
More insignificant skills could be trained on lower levels and perhaps more
%'s each level.
I think this would add some spice to societies, because nowadays all of them
are plain caster/tank bullshit with too few varieties.
