Make the skill a bit more expensive expwise and give a little bonus to saving
throws versus single target spells with high percentages of the skill. After
all, alertness is some kind of sixth sense and thus allows a little bonus
avoiding those feared spells.

Hmm, no reason that is based on reality I suppose... more of a tune issue I
guess. Spells get quick chant, and there is no skill quick chant, so that is

Hmm that was supposed to be a reply to article 1745 Spellbooks... oh well,
