At the moment if a skill or spell is targetted at a troll and a new troll
arrives that skill or spell will always hit that wrong target. I'd suggest a
new command that could be used to attach new named to a monster. A troll could
become a troll called target, a troll called enemy or a troll called
killthisfirst.
After all why should people be so ill equipped to actually keep hitting the
target they originally intended to hit with their skills and spells when only
thing that happened is that some other monster walked into the room.

Don't target the spell then. If you're in combat, it'll pick whatever you're
fighting. If not in combat, kill troll, then cast untargeted .
But probably more in line with your idea, just consider it a hazard of
fighting wandering monsters. I know I turned it to my advantage sometimes when
I was in combat.
