A cute post, and while I understand the essence of the points made, I don't
fully agree with them.

It can't be very surprising for either of the Top 2 players, that you were
getting lots and lots of votes. Both of you know that you can annoy, and both
of you do it often on purpose, for some bizarre reasoning that I don't quite
follow. Hopefully this poll has made you think, if atleast for a brief moment,
that perhaps you could try not to aggravate people at every possible chance,
or to surppress your urges to be smartasses.

Also, this is a game. Addictive perhaps, but a game nevertheless. You do what
you do in that game with your virtual personas, and you have to endure the
consequences of them. We don't make anybody hate you, your own actions make
people dislike you. The options to vote for came from players, they were not
hardcoded by us.

It might be true that a removal-poll is not that constructive (but as
mentioned, it was created as a joke), but you can not honestly blame us for
the fact that you have behaved as an ass in newsposts, channel debates and
tells, hence causing people to dislike you to such a degree that they feel a
need to vote for you in the poll. The mortals are not hateful against
everybody else in the game, most people that get "hated" have earned it in one
way or the other.

My advice is to make a new year's resolution that throughout 2004 you'll
refrain from making smartass newsposts and comments on channels, and focus on
being friendly instead. Either way, don't blame us and a 5-day poll for a
dislike that runs deep throughout the years.

immortal at the time.

I openly told people that it was *incredibly* unlikely that anyone would
actually be permanently removed, it just wouldn't be funny that way. I also
felt comfortable knowing that I'm not all that smart and because of that,
other people would probably figure out that same fact.

I assumed incorrectly, however, that you were smart enough to figure that out.
I find it endlessly amusing that you bought trouble and worry for yourself
for five days over a small character in a free game.

It seems I spoke too soon. I owe Lyth an apology because I totally misread
something on that page of hers. She *does* claim that she suspected a joke
the whole time. For that, I am sorry to have made a "public insult and
private apology" to you.

I'm also sorry that you're still a hasty and judgmental little cunt, I'll give
you a third chance in another 18 months.
