My order arrived today, and I must say the shipping time was great !
And as promised, I put a fire in the sauna stove, so I could try out the
vasta. Tonight was a perfect night to do so, the outside temperature
was at +4, with a light rain.

When the sauna was ready, it was close to 100 C. I put the vasta to
soak in water as suggested. After putting water on the stones several
times, a good sweat developed. I then went to sit outdoors in the wind
and rain to cool down. Then back inside for some steam. Then I put the
vasta to good use, it felt great ! I have tried the other vasta's, the ones
made of plastic twine, but in my opinion, this new one feels more like
a good koivu vasta. Maybe the wide fabric, more resembles the birch
leaves. It also had close to the same sound as the birch, when slapping
against the skin. I also tried my twine vasta tonight, to compare it to
the new one, I didn't use it much. I think if this new one wears out, I
will order another from you ! I repeated the heating and cooling cycle,
several times tonight, to make sure I gave it a good testing. I am very
satisfied with this new vasta ! Thanks !
